Venues for concerts have included Churches, from Lydeard St Lawrence to Chevithorne, and private houses for music before and after dinner. We have also entertained Music Clubs and Garden Clubs, and provided music for weddings and parties.
Con Spirito is a small group of unaccompanied singers based around Tiverton in Devon. The group originally formed in 1992 but after a period re-launched itself in 2001. We sing a wide variety of music ranging from early motets and madrigals to more modern arrangements of folk songs and other pieces. Most of our concerts are given to support charities or local Churches and in the past year we have raised over £1000 for various good causes. recently, we have formed a close relationship with "Stick the Fiddle", which is a band of musicians, specialising in folk music but well able to play classical and early music pieces as well. We have performed together in several concerts, increasing again the variety of music in our repertiore.
